Founded in Chicago by Sven Ramklint, the company quickly grew to multiple locations around Chicago, Arizona, and California. The company led the industry, often being the first to introduce new ideas both in soft window fashion and new kinds of blinds and shades.

In 2001 Sven relocated All About Blinds to its current location of East Hampton, CT. We also have kiosks in Norwich, CT, and Portland, CT.

Jean’s strong relationship with the top national window fashion manufacturers Hunter Douglas, Comfortex, and Graber ensure that the latest technologies and innovations of the window treatment industry can be brought to your local Connecticut home. We don't use installation subcontractors but instead rely on our own friendly and considerate team.

Jean and his team have also expanded their ability to serve a larger portion of Connecticut by creating kiosks at local Ace Hardware stores as well. You can now visit your local Ace Hardware in Norwich or Portland, where you'll find informational videos as well as books and pamphlets that you can take home to explore your options.
